God Cares
Do you feel as if your are loosing a grip on life? Have all your Hopes and dreams been dashed against a rock? Has your heart been torn to shreds? Does it seem there is no way out or you are going under for one last time?
In your darkest hour you may not sense that Jesus is near. But you can be assured, He is there listening to your silent cries and sees your every tear, waiting with open arm’s. He desires to be invited into the midst of your situation, to give you comfort and strength, wisdom and guidance, a hope for the future. And at the very heart of Jesus is a deep yearning to be invited into your heart as the KING of your life!
Do you realize just how much God loves you and cares about everything that touches your life! You see, YOU have been bought with a high price, your debt of sin has been paid in full at the Cross of Calvary…God gave His only Son Jesus to become your Supreme Sacrifice….That you might live eternally with Him. Salvation is a free gift for your taking… So Come, Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. (Psalm 34:8)
Christ is the only answer for the worlds problems…He is the Way, He is the Truth, He is the Life! “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;..” (Psalm 34:17-18) He loves. He cares, He waits with open arms….

Facing Your Fears

Everyone experiences certain degrees of fear from time to time and there is nothing wrong with being afraid, but it’s important to not allow fear to control our lives. When fear comes in like a flood, the Lord certainly understands the cries of a desperate heart. When you’re faced with fear, be open and honest with God, cry out to HIM and tell Him you are afraid and you don’t know what to do. Then acknowledge to God that you are weak, but HE is strong and powerful. And then take you position of Faith, fix your eyes on Jesus and wait upon Him to act. Remember that battle is not yours—but the Lord’s!!
If you be still stand firm in faith, you will be totally amazed as you watch GOD’s perfect plans unfold before you. Don’t be afraid, don’t waver. March right out of that valley —GOD is with you.”
Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”
The Spirit commanded: “Be not afraid nor dismayed . . . for the battle is not yours, but God’s. . . Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you” (2 Chronicles 20:12, 15-17)

Renewing Your Mind
In Roman’s Paul speaks to the Believers of all backgrounds. They had accepted Christ, but yet fought intense battles in the mind…..
“Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:1-2)
Satan’s number one target is your mind. He wants you to think negatively, feel insecure, and run from where God has appointed you to be.
Study shows that morality and hope are at an all time low in our day and age. But it should be just the opposite for true Christians. We have everything to live for, not because of who we are, but for who lives inside us…Jesus Christ!
If we began renewing our mind by committing ourselves to thinking and viewing life from God’s perspective, then we find that God is faithful to help us make that change. But one must understand this….That may mean you need to take action and cut of satan’s access to certain areas of your life!
This means that one needs to beware of what you read, listen to, and watch on the TV and Internet! These may be areas of life where you need to block where the devil has access! But if you ask God, He will show you what’s to go.
Anything that conflicts with the God’s Truth, is satan’s plan to sidetrack you. However the real battle is in the ‘Will’. God will renew your thinking, but you must be willing!
I pray you will choose purity over evil, truth over lies. May the Lord help you to change your stinkin’ thinkin’. May your thoughts be pure and lovely as you learn to view things from God’s perspective!
