My Redeemer

As we approached this New Year, I began thinking upon God’s Faithfulness to me…Wow, I can honestly say the Lord has never failed me!!

As I look back down the dusty road I’ve traveled, I remember those moments when I didn’t think I would make it through. At times that old road grew lonely, dark and rugged as the load I was bearing became mighty heavy. But as I stumbled and fell in the darkness, there in the shadows I found a gentle hand reaching out for mine. With a tight, firm grip HE picked me up and carried me on His shoulders towards Home.

In every situation I have faced over the years, GOD has proven His love for me over and over again. Even in the moments when I wasn’t so loveable, when I just didn’t quite understand, or in moments of despair, when I frantically searched for “why’s or why not’s”. Yet even then in all my doubt and fears, my Lord didn’t turn away. Instead, Jesus picked me up and cradled me in His loving arm’s of protection and quietly listened to the cries of my brokenness, then gave me HIS Grace and strength to endure another day. Yes, my God has been so very Faithful & True!

As January 2018 begins, like anyone else, there are those things in life that would depress me if I dwell upon it. But instead of caving in to feelings and frustrations, I choose to think upon the goodness of my Lord. I pick up my Bible and began pondering upon His faithfulness to me. HE has answered many a prayer and continues to fulfill every promise!

I find on penned pages of my Bible where The Lord says He is preparing a place for those who persevere! So let’s keep pressing onward my Friend, for someday very soon that Trumpet sound will call us Home!

You ask me…”Do I believe this”?? And I quickly answer …”YES! From the depths of my soul I rejoice in knowing that this too shall come to pass”. For you see it’s been many a year now and my hair is turning gray, but I can honestly say, in this journey through life God has proven himself time and time again…”Yes, My Redeemer is Faithful and True”!!
