The Cry of the Cross

The CROSS…a gruesome form of Roman torture and death, which stands at the very heart of Christianity. The Cross is an authentic emblem that represents Christianity.
You see, God so loved that He gave His only Son to die for you. All mankind is born with original sin, which carved an abyss between God and man and nothing but the power of the Cross could reconcile man back to God. The message of the Cross is Holy Love, God’s immeasurable pure and selfless Love for man.
On this beautiful Easter Season…take time to think upon the Cross. Look past the pain and suffering, the nails, thorns, whips, mockery and ridicule. As you’re standing at the foot of the Cross, draw closer and look deeper into heart of the Cross, to the overwhelming passion that drove Jesus Christ to Cross as our Ultimate Supreme Sacrifice.
His overwhelming Love was demonstrated there on the Cross. He released the chains of death that bound you and gave you eternal life. He brings you out of the darkness into His marvelous light, from despair to hope, from feeling useless to a life having true meaning. He comes into your heart with perfect love and acceptance…making you a part of His Kingdom!
God Love’s YOU…He died for YOU…He arose for YOU…He saves YOU…He gives eternal life to YOU. There is NO greater Love!! As we busily prepare for Easter celebration, take time to set at the foot of the cross. Be still and listen closely and you too will hear….the cry of the Cross! No one could ever love you like Jesus!

Yes, the road I have traveled in life has been filled with potholes, but each hardship has made me who I am today! Oh, I may look a little bruised and battered and I may even be facing more hardships in life, but yet I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to finish the work before me that the Lord has called me to do!
I am committed to serving the Lord at whatever cost. I look to the Spirit of the Lord to work in me and through me, putting absolutely no confidence in my tattered flesh! You see…God is in charge of my life through the Holy Spirit that dwells within me. I am no longer a hostage to changing circumstances, riding the ups and downs of emotions….for The jOy of the Lord is my strength of my Life!! I have found as I have yielded to the ways of the Lord, I am more alert to the needs of others around me and love to minister to those who are bruised and hurting. I absolutely refuse to be consumed by my own problems, but seek the Lord in how to share His love and encouraging words with others. Oh yes, I must still deal with my own personal trials and ordeals in my daily life, but I solely rely upon a Holy God, for in Him I have found Freedom, Liberty, and a new devotion to continue His work while on earth! Even in the midst of brokenness, I have a deep compelling desire to walk in a greater intimacy with Christ! Yes see, The Lord has faithfully given me a gift of His strength for my weakness, His Hope, for my despair, and brings relief with His healing hand. He heals my broken heart and binds up my wounds. His sweet presence is ever so near.
Therefore, I MUST finish the race, reflect the Love of Christ and share the powerful life changing Truth of God’s Saving Grace!! Oh God, Bless this Broken Road! ~ San, Healing Rain to the Nations

Arise Victorious Warrior

Yes, Life is full of hard knocks! With each hard blow, the devil seeks to weaken my faith and tries to destroy my soul. But I boldly stand my ground for I have made the choice to Love the Lord my God with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my mind and with all my strength, and never wavering in my Faith! For in Christ alone I place my trust! Therefore, In all my weakness and human limitations, I know beyond a doubt I have the power of my Unlimited GOD who sustains me!
You can bet the ole enemy will continue to seek, with a purpose to kill and destroy, but Christ has come to give Life Abundant! It’s through a personal relationship with Christ Jesus that I have found that conquering power over the enemy! YOU SEE….I live my life for Jesus! For the Lord is My Refuge and My Fortress, My God, in whom I trust. He is Faithful and True to His Word, A Victorious Warrior…Lord of everything! He is My Rock, My shelter, My very Hope, Blessed Redeemer who reigns upon the Throne!! Only Jesus can satisfy the very longing and thirst in my soul! He is My Supreme Sacrifice who gave His life that I might live and I find no greater Love!! He is the Living Water that rains down life upon me and refreshes me with abundant life!! I know who I am in Christ! Therefore I will not bend nor bow to the wilds of the enemy!
For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”, (Deut 20:4) Giving us victory over our enemies, putting our adversaries to shame. (psalm 44:7) For everyone born of God overcomes the world. FAITH is the victory that has overcome the world. (1 John 5:4)
I arise as a Victorious Warrior…armed and dressed for Battle according to Ephesians 6:10-18… “The Armor of God” (see below) Thanks be to God! He gives us the Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ…..MY KING…The Source of Living Water…I will Trust in YOU!!! (1 Corinthians 15:57)
The Armor of God
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Thankfulness is birthed when we bow our hearts; as well as our knees…When I call upon His name I find my God is always ready to listen and accept me… just as I am. For a few quiet moments I close my eyes and began opening my heart. God lovingly begins revealing my very soul. Suddenly I sense HIS wonderful love flowing over me. I taste HIS Forgiveness, HIS Grace, HIS Goodness and Mercy, it’s then I know…HE is all I need!
My Friend, no matter where you have been or what you have done, the Lord is always there waiting with open arm’s, eager to forgive, always ready to love you back to His heart! Run to His presence, there you will find love and acceptance and fullness of joy, a bright hope for tomorrow and a reason to live! HE is a good, good Father! Be blessed by this beautiful song….

God Cares

Christ is the only answer for the worlds problems…He is the Way, He is the Truth, He is the Life! “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;..” (Psalm 34:17-18) He loves. He cares, He waits with open arms….

Be Ye Kind…
When my brother Bill and I were growing up we heard this scripture quoted a lot when we got into a squabble. That was many years ago, but I can still hear my Momma preaching it to us…”Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted forgiving one another “. (Eph 4:32). Even now in my mature years I find it’s certainly a Word to live by!
No Greater Love
You and I may love people because they love us, but that’s not how God loves. It is very clear that there is no qualification in God’s love; He leaves no one out of His love. There is no previous love on our part. God loves us before we ever make a move toward Him. God demonstrates His love to the “weak” the “ungodly,” the “sinners,” and even His “enemies.” God’s love for us is not based on our attractiveness to God. He does not base HIS love for us on who we are, what we do, what we have or how we look. He does not love us only so long as we love Him.
God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 8:5)
God’s love for us is unconditional. He has proved that love by giving His only Son “Jesus” to be our Supreme Sacrifice upon the Cross, as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all mankind, that we might be redeemed. God then raised Christ Jesus from the dead on the 3rd day that you and I may now live eternally with Him in Glory! Oh what Love and what a high price has been paid for Salvation and our Freedom!!!
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends (John 15:13)
God’s perfect love will never fail you. If you haven’t done so, I invite you to accept God’s free gift of “Eternal Life” and fall madly in love with Jesus today??!

Romans Road to Salvation

Do you want to know that assurance of Eternal Life?…
As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one…For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. (Romans 3:10, 23)
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.. (Romans 6:23)
But God showed his great love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. …for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:9-10, and 13)
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, (Romans 5:1)
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, (Romans 8:1)
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Responding to Romans Road

Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, I recognize I am a sinner in desperate need of a Saviour! Therefore, I ask You to forgive my sins and save me from eternal separation from God. By faith, I accept Your work and death on the Cross as sufficient payment for my sins. Thank You for paying the price that I may go free! Thank you for providing the way for me to know You and to have a relationship with my Heavenly Father. Through faith in You, I now realize I have eternal life. Thank You also for hearing my prayers and loving me unconditionally. Please give me the strength, wisdom, and determination to walk in the center of Your divine will. In Jesus’ name, amen.
