Happiness Breeds Happiness

Written by: Sandy Blaser, Healing Rain to the Nations

Have you ever been around someone who is laughing really hard and you don’t even have the slightest idea why? Then for absolutely no reason, you start laughing! I can’t tell you how many times their laughter has rubbed off onto me.

We all face circumstances in life that are beyond our control. BUT—Ones “attitudes” can make a world of difference on the outcome of your circumstances. It’s so important to remember, our attitudes and how we perceive things in this world can either build us up or tear us down. I certainly know by experience…a positive attitude definitely makes it easier to get through the life’s hard times. Filling your mind and heart with the word of God and “good clean laughter” is better than any medicine and a heck of a lot easier to swallow.

Your attitude also affects the people that surround you. There is nothing I detest more than being in the company of a long-faced, grumpy, complaining, and negative person. So, learn to laugh at yourself and the world. Don’t take life so seriously that you forget to enjoy it. Besides, when we are not ruled by our emotions, then it is possible to respond to others with a “cheerful attitude”. Remember, “Happiness breeds happiness.” And people just plain enjoy being around positive, happy people!

So no matter what you are enduring…Choose Joy!! Make others around you wonder…”What in the heck makes you so happy”!!! Thus, becomes a perfect opportunity to witness and encourage others.

The Word of God, mixed with a positive disposition and a healthy dose of good clean laughter, is the best possible medicine ever! Coupled together, it helps bring about inner healing. Plus, choosing joy also guarantees a world of lifetime Friendships!

Laughter IS catching! So, want to change your world?…I dare you to choose JOY! Start laughing & see what happens!!! =)

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. (Proverbs 17:22)
