HRN kindness

Try A Little Kindness

Every day we are faced with many choices. But one of the most important things to choose is to begin our day with words of kindness. When we choose our words wisely, we can brighten someone’s day and bring much joy to our own hearts! On the other hand, our negative words have the power to divide and destroy.

Family & Friends are one of God’s greatest Blessings. So let your ‘kindness’ begin with those whom you love and care about so dearly.  When you wake up and in the morning before your feet hit the floor, invite the Lord into your day and ask Him to help you choose your words wisely.  For our actions and reactions set the mode for the whole day.

If you tend be snappy & grumpy in the mornings, just remember this:  God doesn’t just ‘suggest’ we be kind and loving toward each other … HE Commands it!!

God’s command:  “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. (John 15:12)

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:32)

Yes, there will certainly be those moments, but be aware of how you treat others.  Your compassion, respect and love may be just what lead’s them to the heart of Christ!!

Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. (Philippians 4:5)

Purify yourselves by obeying the Truth so that you have sincere love for each other; love one another deeply, from the heart. (1 Peter 1:22)

Prayer:  “O God, I ask that love, respect and compassion flows freely from my heart to all those around me…especially to those whom I love so dearly!”

“Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of your greeting … Don’t only give your care, but give your heart as well”. ~ Mother Teresa

HRN child of King

You Are Royalty

When we accept the Lord as our Savior, we then become part of the most unique family in history – The Royal Family of God…. Here is what the scriptures in the Bible say….

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God…”    1 John 3:1

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…”   Romans 8:16,17

I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:18)

For…Those who are victorious will have an inheritance…I will be their God and they will be my children. (Revelation 21:7)

You are a chosen people, a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, God’s Special Possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into HIS wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9)

God says: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” (2 Corinthians 6:16)

“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”  (Galatians 4:6-7)

You see, as born again believers of Jesus Christ that means that you & I have then been adopted into the Family of God and He has placed His seal of Son-ship upon us!  We actually become an joint heir to the very Throne of God!

YES, we as are children of the Most High KING and our Crowns belong to the one who set the captives free…. JESUS!  (Revelation 1:5-6)

“How Deep The Father’s Love For Us” by Selah

HRN Isaiah 4.6The Hiding Place

There are times in this old world when I feel so weak, so afraid, and so all alone!  As the dark storm clouds gather on the horizon, I quickly run to the place of safety, a place where my soul finds rest.  In the arms of my Jesus is where I seek shelter as the storm winds howl & waves come crashing in!  It is there hidden in HIS presence I shelter from the wilds of this old world!

It’s there in that hiding place the Lord begins to gently speak words of wisdom and encouragement

”KEEP Clinging to the Promise!…Do not give up!…Do not be afraid!

I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10)

For HE is… a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain. (Isaiah 4:6)

He then instructs me to not worry and brings scriptures to mind…

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Time and time again, God encourages and shower’s me with His love and faithfulness.  HE is a Friend I can depend on.  He is my Guiding Light, the Anchor I cling to, my Eternal Hope of Glory!  As I affirm my love and trust in Him, suddenly my faith is enabled to soar to higher  heights and what looked impossible, somehow gives way to a ray of hope.  As I wait upon HIM, those dark and dreary storm clouds began to give way to brilliant rays of sunlight! “Grace”…God’s Unmerited Favor

HRN Grace4Where there is LOVE…Mercy and Grace Abounds

The Lord is compassionate and gracious; slow to anger, abounding in love.  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.  Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Psalm 103:8; Eph. 2:8-10; Heb 4:16)

Because of His Grace, God offers salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ, so that we might have a relationship with Him! Once we have repented & accepted this free gift of salvation, His Grace declares us …..
• “Righteous”— Guilt and the shame of sin are removed
• ”Adopted” — We become a Child of God, adopted into the Family
• “Born Again” —We were spiritual dead but made alive with a new heart & spirit
• “Filled with the Holy Spirit”—We are given the presence of the Holy Spirit which guides us into all Truth, producing Wisdom, Love, Joy & Peace
• And His Grace declares us “FREE”— Free from the power of sin and death, so Trust & Faith may began to grow!

“You are a Chosen People, a Royal Priesthood, a HOLY Nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” (1 Peter 2:9)  Therefore…“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.  (Hebrews” 4:16)

I pray you too will come to know and experience true Freedom found only in “Christ Jesus”! (see posting… No Greater Love)

As for me, I am so thankful to the Lord, for HIS never ending Love, Mercy & Grace has released the prison doors and sets me FREE!  I’m ever so grateful that HE has raised me up from the old life, into the “New Life in Christ Jesus”! I will forever speak of God’s faithfulness to me! From the depths of my heart I will testify that HIS Mercies ARE new each & every morning!

HRN Jer 33.3d

Call Upon the Lord

Whether you are a Christian or not, you can be certain you will face problems in this ole world.  We can expect problems because we live in a fallen world.  But as Children of God, we have a great asset.  We can call upon the Lord to strengthen and help us face any problems we may encounter.

Since we do not know what the future holds, then the best way to prepare for what is just around the bend is to daily seek the heart of your Heavenly Father.  HIS answers come through different avenues…personal revelation, through Godly teaching, or through the advice of a grounded Christian friend.  But most often God reveals HIS Will to us when we read HIS Word.

Don’t make the mistake of deciding a course of action without first consulting the Lord.  Since He knows what is ahead, HE can prevent us from making bad choices.

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”  (Jeremiah 33:3)

So, never let anyone persuade you into moving forward until you have heard from the heart of God.  Practice talking to the Lord in the good times and you become familiar with HIS still small voice.  Then when troubles come, you automatically call out to HIM and recognize HIS voice.

HIS Word says…“He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. (Psalm 91:15)

But don’t wait till trials hit, come to know the heart of your Father by spending time in HIS presence.  After all, HE is an all-knowing God who loves you and cares about everything that touches your life!

HRN Judges 6.12 warrior

Look Up Mighty Warrior

Author: Sandy Blaser, Healing Rain to the Nations

Yes, I admit sometimes it seems life is just not fare. Seems I get through one trial and here comes another. As the battle rages on I have found myself getting mighty weary from the struggle of it all. And yes there are those times I would just like to pick up my toys and go home! But just when it seems I’m at the at the end of my rope these quiet Words of life are dropped into my Spirit……

Sandy, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27) Look up …“The LORD is with you, Mighty Warrior.” (Judges 6:12)“You are chosen, holy, righteous, and redeemed” by the Blood of the Lamb and the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells with in you!…Oh My Child, you may feel weak and defeated at times but… I, the Lord Your God…Promise to give strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (Isaiah 40:29) because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4) Then He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

I find it so amazing how quickly the powerful Word of the Lord can transform a trial, giving hope, peace and comfort even in the wildest of storms.

So if you are going through hard times, in the midst of all the turmoil, grab your Bible and be still and allow the Lord to speak to you. Begin listening for those powerful Words of life to be dropped into your spirit. You too will be amazed!!
