This powerful scripture and one of my favorites I run to in trying times. As you read these scriptures below, I encourage you to insert your own name, making them personal… after-all God is speaking to YOU! Just listen….. ~San, Healing Rain to the Nations

Psalm 91  (make personal)

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you (your name) from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. “Because he (she) loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him (her); I will protect him (her), for he (she) acknowledges my name. He (She) will call on me, and I will answer him (her); I will be with him (her) in trouble, I will deliver him (her) and honor him (her). With long life I will satisfy him (insert name) and show him (her) my salvation.”

Beautiful People

written by:  Sandy, Healing Rain to the Nations

Some of the most beautiful people I have ever known are those who have experienced the agony of defeat, familiar with deep pain & the misery of suffering, exhausted from day to day struggles of financial pressure, heartbroken from loss of loved ones & shattered dreams, and yet have somehow found their way out of the depths of despair & the ghetto’s of loneliness.

Yet these people seem to have such an appreciation, a sensitivity and an understanding of life that fills them with such beautiful compassion, gentleness, and a deep concerning love? How can this be?? I have found they each have one common-denominator …”Jesus Christ”!

I too have learned, in all situations, the only way to become a Victorious Over-comer is through Christ alone! Only in submission unto HIM have I found unshakable faith that enable’s me to put Gods’ Word & Promises into everyday practice!! Only thorough HIM, can I love, laugh & trust again!

Therefore no matter what your circumstances, I challenge you to surrender all before the Lord.  Bow on your knees before your Creator; for it is there Christ will enable you to arise with a strong determination to make something beautiful out of the things that the enemy has meant for harm! Remember…Beautiful people do not just happen over-night!!

My prayer for you ... That you may come…to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:19 (KJV)

psalm 46.10

Facing Your Fears

Written by Sandy Blaser, Healing Rain to the Nations

Everyone experiences certain degrees of fear from time to time and there is nothing wrong with being afraid, but it’s important to not allow fear to control our lives. When fear comes in like a flood, the Lord certainly understands the cries of a desperate heart. When you’re faced with fear, be open and honest with God, cry out to HIM and tell Him you are afraid and you don’t know what to do. Then acknowledge to God that you are weak, but HE is strong and powerful. And then take you position of Faith, fix your eyes on Jesus and wait upon Him to act. Remember that battle is not yours—but the Lord’s!!

If you be still stand firm in faith, you will be totally amazed as you watch GOD’s perfect plans unfold before you. Don’t be afraid, don’t waver. March right out of that valley —GOD is with you.”

Our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”

The Spirit commanded: “Be not afraid nor dismayed . . . for the battle is not yours, but God’s. . . Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you” (2 Chronicles 20:12, 15-17)

Be still and know that I am GOD. (Psalm 46:10)

Splendor of His Holiness

Worship the Lord in all His splendor and Holiness….“Charm and grace are deceptive, and [superficial] beauty is vain,But a woman who fears the Lord [reverently worshiping, obeying, serving, and trusting Him with awe-filled respect], she shall be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30)

God’s word says…”Be Holy for I Am Holy”. He who called you is Holy and Righteous.  Did you know…YOU also are called to be holy in all your conduct?? God’s word says…”I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.” (Levi 11:44)

For Such a Time as This

God is calling you to partner with Him to build His Kingdom!  Yes…YOU!!!  You have been CHOSEN… For Such a Time as This!

“For such a time as this.” A great line from Esther in the Bible. Queen Esther had an opportunity to save the Jews, but at great personal risk. Her cousin Mordecai encouraged her by saying that perhaps God had placed her in that position for “such a time as this” God has prepared good works in advance for all of us. (Ephesians 2:10)

God created YOU with a special purpose in mind and you can rest assured He will equip you for the task.   Listen to the beautiful song below.

Yes, He is calling your name…just waiting for you to say…YES…For such a time as this!!

Lady The Wife of

Noble  Character

This scripture speaks of how to be an excellent Wife and Mother, but the first step is to spend time with the Lord, preparing your heart and drawing closer to the heart of the Father. No matter what stage you are in life, or in your walk with the Lord, striving to become a Proverbs 31 Woman should be put into practice daily. So I encourage you to keep the scriptures posted before you. The ‘Proverbs 31’ Wife is a good provider and protector for all those she loves and cares about. She may be wise to the ways of the world, but her life is guided by the wisdom of God. The key to being a Wife of noble character is found in verse 30, …”But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised”.

My prayer is that you will become a dynamic reflection of God’s amazing love!

~Sandy Blaser, Healing Rain to the Nations

Proverbs 31 Woman

A wife of noble character who can find?

She is worth far more than rubies.

Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.

She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.

She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.

She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants.

She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.

She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.

She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.

She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.

She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.

She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Potholes of Life

written by: Sandy Blaser, Healing Rain to the Nations

These Scriptures have served as a constant reminder of the Lord’s Power, His Compassion and His Faithfulness to me! Even though the doctors were telling me otherwise…I choose to trust God’s word and allow my faith to soar to higher heights.

This is what God says about HIS Word…“So is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”  (Isaiah 55:11)

He took up our (my) infirmities and carried our (my)diseases.”(Matthew 8:17) “He was wounded for our (my) transgressions, He was bruised for our (my) iniquities: the chastisement of our (my) peace was upon Him; and by His stripes we (I am) are healed.” (Isaiah 53)

My son, (daughter) pay attention to what I say; listen closely to My words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body.” (Proverbs 4:20-22)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.” (Proverbs 3:5-8)

These promises are just an example of many I found in the Bible. I printed them on post cards and posted them all over my walls, doors & mirrors. One of the first things I had to put into practice was learning how to guard my mind from stinkin’ thinkin’!! As fear would try to grip my heart, I began reading the posted scriptures out loud! (really loud so the devil could hear me!) I daily surrendered my all unto God’s mighty hands and planted my feet on a solid foundation of Jesus Christ. As I stood steadfast in Faith, I began rejoicing and worshiping the Lord with all that was within me! I learned to not to worry and fret, and to never go on what I seen, heard or how I felt. With a child like faith I began to simply Trust and Believe that my Heavenly Father had a divine purpose for my life and His perfect Will shall be done…In His most precise time!!!

Years have come and gone and I can gladly testify that my Jesus is Faithful…I am a victorious Over-comer!!

Yes, life happens and sooner or later there will be challenges and hurdles to cross. But you can prepare yourself! I encourage you to spend quiet time in the Word, in worship and in Prayer. As the trials come, you may find yourself searching for why’s & why not’s, but …”Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Prov 3:5-6)

As you face the impossible; Place your faith in the unseen hand of God. You will find the Lord is ever so faithful to all His promises. So when you hit a pothole in the path of life, remember, God has not forgotten you! He sees you, He knows you, He loves you and awaits with open arms!! Together you will get through this trial!!  Listen to this beautiful song…..
