Thankfulness is birthed when we bow our hearts; as well as our knees…When I call upon His name I find my God is always ready to listen and accept me… just as I am. For a few quiet moments I close my eyes and began opening my heart. God lovingly begins revealing my very soul. Suddenly I sense HIS wonderful love flowing over me. I taste HIS Forgiveness, HIS Grace, HIS Goodness and Mercy, it’s then I know…HE is all I need!
My Friend, no matter where you have been or what you have done, the Lord is always there waiting with open arm’s, eager to forgive, always ready to love you back to His heart! Run to His presence, there you will find love and acceptance and fullness of joy, a bright hope for tomorrow and a reason to live! HE is a good, good Father! Be blessed by this beautiful song….

In the midst of a howling sea of sorrow, pain, loneliness & despair, powerful waves well up to overtake me! In a distance I hear a voice calling my name! I struggle in the swift currents to take a hold of a hand reaching out for mine! As it seems I’m going under for one last time, suddenly I feel a hand firmly grasping hold of my arm, lifting me out of the angry sea and drawing me up to new heights. With the touch of His hand my soul senses a powerful love flowing, as my feet are set on a solid rock! This magnificent love enables me to stand unwavering on a mountain of Faith! As I stand gazing beyond my present stormy sea, my joy is restored, my strength is renewed and the determination to overcome wells up within my soul! For Christ alone is my Salvation, My Hope of Eternity! …And Once again I realize God has allowed my faith to be tested & refined! And once again I find HE is so very faithful!! All Glory to His Name!
Here are some thoughts to ponder: “The stronger the battle , the greater the resistance, the bigger the muscle”! Therefore we should not oppose trials, but embrace them! For we have a promise that not a hair on our head will be burned, nor the waves will overtake us! (Isaiah 43) Boldly we will emerge from the fire brilliantly glowing…as a pure reflection of His heart!

Searching For Truth?

Are you searching for a deeper meaning in life?? Are you questioning rather or not God is real? Do you wish you could believe like others??
I challenge you… Open the Bible and begin searching for the Truth! For His Word says…” Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be open to you”. “For the one who seeks finds and the one who knocks, the door will be opened to you. (Luke 11:9-10) “Call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen”. “Seek Me, you WILL find Me, when you seek Me with ALL your heart.” (Jer 29:13),
I encourage you to spend some quiet time searching His Word each and everyday beginning in the Book of Romans. Pray and ask the Lord to open your heart and your mind into all Truth. If you are persistent in seeking Him with ALL your heart, mind, soul and strength, there in the midst of the Bible pages God will began revealing Himself. You will be utterly amazed at His Glory, His faithfulness and His love for you.
Just remember this…With a “spoken word” God created the massive universe we live in. Therefore God’s Word is powerful enough to transform your life into something…Beautiful!! For He is The Way, The Truth, The Life! I pray you find Christ really is all you need!!

When Christ Jesus gave himself on Calvary as our Supreme Sacrifice, our debt was stamped ‘paid in full’! But also let us not forget, Jesus gave the Great Commission to all His children!! God is the one who convicts, saves and sanctifies, but He calls you and I to be a part of that process on earth by being a witness for Christ. But that doesn’t necessarily mean you must go all the way to Africa to be a missionary!! God desires that we work the mission field around us, right where we have been planted. He relies on you & I to be a testimony to our family, our neighbors, even at the yard Sales, grocery store and in the doctor’s office & hospitals, etc. We are to let His light shine to all those we meet on a daily basis. We are called to be His mouthpiece, His hands, His feet; every area of our lives is to be a reflection of our Lord’s heart.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
That means we must ‘come out’ of the comfort of our churches and our homes and begin taking it upon ourselves to be an expression of His love, thus proving to the world that God genuinely cares.
People are hurting every where you turn. Rather it be spiritual, physical, emotional or a financial need… God does hear the sound of their desperate cries. But did you realize, it’s YOU & I that may be holding the Key to their blessing?!! Therefore, it’s very important for us to be in tune with God’s still small inner voice of the Holy Spirit, gently guiding and directing us. After all, for we do want to operate with Wisdom!
So the next time the Lord nudges your heart, unfold your arms and begin lending that helping hand, a listening ear, or maybe giving a testimony or an encouraging word. You may find that it’s your very act of caring that brings a ray of hope into someone’s desperate situation.
You see, Love promotes Hope which can come through numerous acts of kindness. May be the Lord will instruct you to pay that overdue electric bill or rent payment. Or might be a car needs repairing or a need for medicine or warm clothing. Rather it’s giving a ride or a cup of hot coffee, praying for someone’s healing or simply listening with a smile, giving a gentle hug or a basket of groceries, “Hope” can come through so many different avenues. Just remember this…It’s however the Lord instructs you personally. That’s what you should do.
I share with you this amazing thought the Lord has just dropped into my Spirit….”A beautiful miracle could take place when a heart filled with Christ’s love begins to connect with another’s heart…The very act of your obedience to God’s voice, may just be someone’s avenue to Abundant Life & Eternal Hope!” My cry is….”Oh God, help me not to miss those divine opportunities”!!
Everyday life for so many people is very challenging, filled with pain, sorrow, loneliness, hunger, hopelessness, depression…etc. etc. So, let us remember… You & I may be the only ‘Bible’ some may ever read. Our actions, our touch, and our love, speaks loudly in this crazy mixed up world we live in. Therefore, I encourage you to accept this challenge…Lt’s step up to the plate; surrender ALL unto the Lord saying,,, “Here am I Lord, Use me!” And then submit yourself into His perfect Will and His Way.
With the help of the Lord, may we begin opening our eyes and our hearts, gazing into the world through the eyes of Christ. It doesn’t take long to find simple, everyday people just waiting for our touch of love & kindness.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)

“God is our Refuge and Strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though it’s waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging—-There is a River whose streams make glad the city of God, the Holy place where the Almighty dwells….Yes, Nations will uproar, kingdoms will fall;…but the Lord Almighty is with us! HE says…“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Therefore, let us be steadfast on our Faith. Let us keep our eyes upon Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith. No matter what the future holds….we will not face it alone! For The Lord Almighty is with us, the God of Jacob is our Fortress! (Psalm 46:1-11).
So yes my Friends, we may not understand, but let us…. ”Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
In these perilous times I challenge you to let your Faith arise to new heights….For Christ Jesus is the Peace for today and the bright Hope for all our tomorrows! So no matter how high the waves may get…HE has everything under control! Amen & Amen!

Pearl of a Great Price
… The kingdom of Heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Matthew 13:45-46
The finest quality pearls have been highly valued as gemstones and objects of beauty for many centuries, and the word pearl has become a metaphor for something rare, fine, and admirable.
The making of a pearl is very irritating to an oyster and it takes an oyster somewhere between three and six years to produce a perfect pearl. The process begins with a small piece of sand or other irritant entering the oyster. The oyster then coats it with layers of nacre which, after years of this process, a beautiful pearl is formed. Theoretically, the longer a pearl has to develop, the thicker and deeper the coating of nacre and the higher quality of the pearl.
It is said that not all oysters produce perfect pearls naturally. In fact out of every three tons of oysters, you are likely to find only three or four that make a perfect pearl.
Life is full of unexpected exasperations and like the sand in an oyster; God uses little irritations in our own personal lives to create inner beauty. These irritations are a must in order for the Lord to bring about His unique design and purposes. For it is all through the hurt, pain and ugliness, that oftentimes, God begins creating His radiance in us.
Going through trying times certainly is not pleasant, but God gives us a promise that we can “rejoice” even in our sufferings, (James 1) because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope” (Romans 5:3-4).
When we embrace the struggle or irritation in our lives, then God faithfully uses it to make us into something beautiful. But when we choose to run from or ignore our pain it is hard for us to learn from it and see God’s hand in it. So it’s through embracing the tough times and trusting the Lord will ultimately help us become all God has designed us to be.
In Matthew 13, we see that a merchant sold all that he had to purchase a single pearl, but why, of all things, a pearl? Interestingly, the only natural gemstone that has more value when it is found than when man finishes with it is the PEARL! And my friend, YOU are the PEARL of a GREAT PRICE, the Discovery of a Lifetime!

Believe it or not…The daily struggles we face are preparing us for an eternal glory that will make all our troubles seem like small potatoes! Give up…How could we?!! Even though things are falling apart around us, it’s on the inside where we experience CHRIST unfolding Grace! In the midst of it all, our hope is renewed, enabling our faith to arise to new heights. Let us remember…For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (2 Corinthians 4:17) Therefore let us… fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18)
So if your life seems to be a little topsy-turvy, look at it this way…We are being prepared for one “lavish celebration” that far outweighs anything we face here on earth!! I say…”Let the party begin”!! See you at the HOUSE!

Whether it’s a day of sickness or health, work or Church, enjoying family & friends, a time of relaxation or just taking pleasure in God’s created beauty, wherever your feet may trod, I pray your spiritual senses are alert as the Lord reveals HIS TRUTH and LOVE to you in very special ways!
With each new day, may you experience God’s divine revelation as HE tenderly touches your body, spirit, mind and soul, bringing healing, hope & purpose to your life! I pray that with every step you will grow deeper and passionately in love with The Lord!
