Love Runs Deep
When darkness surrounds you and there seems no way out, remember…God’s unfailing, unchanging love runs deep for His children!
No matter what situation you may be facing, if you take time to listen closely, you will hear the voice of Hope encouraging you. Hear His gentle voice beckoning you to simply trust in Him.
When there seems to be no way, with a child like trust, just lunge into the arm’s of Jesus. For it’s there, you will suddenly realize…”HE” is the Way, The Truth and The Life!! Then acknowledge Christ as King of your life and allow Him to direct your path. And then take Him by the hand and step into the light of His love! You will be pleasantly surprised at how He understands all your confusion. And as you learn to walk with HIM, I guarantee, Christ will make something beautiful out of your life!!
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

HE Remains Faithful

Do you feel as if your prayers are never answered? Are you finding yourself in a waiting mode? When hard times come, do you really trust in The Lord?
First of all, it’s important to realize just how much God loves you. To discover His love, the journey takes you to the foot of the old rugged Cross. For there a high price was paid for YOU! You are His most prized possession and HE holds you ever so close to His heart. Therefore, we can know He desires what’s best for His Children and yes, we can even trust Him to be on time!! For when we have accepted that Love and live a “surrendered life”, then surely we know we can trust Him with the answers to our desperate cries.
Do you realize that God gives immediate responses to your prayers? Sometimes we see the Lord’s answer right away and even though we don’t like it, sometimes the Lord’s answer is “wait”! Now I do admit, waiting does stretch our faith just a tad. But do you know the “waiting period” is really for our own good! It’s during that time when God is building our faith and when we develop a simple child-like trust in Him. I have found the waiting is well worth it, for sometimes to my surprise, God’s answer is much greater than anything I ever anticipated.
Then, that means when we face difficulties in life, we should never spend useless time worrying and fretting over an uncontrollable circumstance. For to do so, brings on more pain and sorrow, making life absolutely miserable for ourselves and others around us. And actually, this is a form of manipulating God, which can be a very dangerous thing! So instead, when trials come let us be quick to grab our Bible, look up scriptures that are dear to our heart and meditate upon God’s promises and His faithfulness to us. This is an act of Trust and that’s when we can begin thanking Him for His perfect outcome.
Here’s a good scripture to remind us that we can Trust our Lord in ALL things… “Even if we are unfaithful, HE remains faithful, For HE cannot deny who HE is.” (2 Tim 2:13)
Yes, God loves us deeply and has our best at heart! Therefore, we can rest assured that His plans and His timing are ever so perfect! And just at that chosen moment when He decides it’s time for it all to come together, no devil in hell or man on earth can keep us from what our God desires for us! As for me, I am just so thankful that God doesn’t always give me what I ask for!!
In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. (Psalm 25:1) Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. (Psalm 9:10) I will say of the Lord, “He is My Refuge and My Fortress, My God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:2) Therefore…Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to YOU I entrust my life. (Psalm 143:8)
I Look to YOU

Being born with a birth defect, and a young age being diagnosed with a crippling disease, I have fought a struggle my entire life, feeling that I don’t quiet measure up to others. But over the years filled with silent pain and sorrow, I’ve learned to turn it all over to God and simply trust Him, believing He does not make mistakes. Through it all I have learned to wait upon the Lord, knowing He will faithfully see me through all the struggles I may face in life.
No, life has never been easy, but I have more blessed hope than ever before that God will somehow be glorified through it all! At the dawn of each new morning, I continue to press on into the heart of my Heavenly Father, taking one day at a time. I have learned to accept myself just as I am. I surrender all my flaws & my infirmities, my health, my family, all into the hands of My Almighty Creator. I have pushed past all the hurts & disappointments of life as my heart overflows with a love and adoration for my Lord! Oh yes, I will always learn from my past, but with a strong determination I will continue to look ahead to the Author & Finisher of my faith, pressing onward to be the Servant He has chosen me to be!
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Yes…Even in the midst of the Storm!! (2 Tim 1:7)
I pray the words I share here on Healing Rain to the Nations continue to give you encouragement and a strong determination to keep pressing onward! “Be still & know that I Am God”

Those words are ever so dear to my heart….
When I was very sick in bed in Texas, I got a call from Missouri that my Mother had broken her hip. Due to an illness I was unable to travel, so my precious family in Missouri stood in for me. But yet my ole heart was so broken that I could not be there for for my Mom at such a time as this. I was so weak, there was nothing I could do. So as I lay on my bed, I grabbed my Bible for reassurance and began crying out to my Lord. And there in the midst of all my fretting I heard these words spoken very clearly…”Be still & know that I am God”!!
Suddenly my room was bathed in such peace and comfort. I felt as if someone had just covered me with a soft, warm blanket, just like my Momma used to do when I was sick. And there wrapped in God’s love, I began to simply trust in Him, releasing my sweet Mother into His hands.
My Momma came through surgery & recovery beautifully, for the Lord was in the midst of it all! Later I was able to make the flight to Missouri and be by her side as she went though months of Therapy. During all of Mom’s Therapy Sessions, she had so much jOy! And I shall never forget how she ended every exercise saying…”One more for the Lord”!!

A Promise to You

Yes, we all have flubbed up in our past in some way or another. But, thank God, every day is another opportunity for a “do over”! The enemy wants us to be bound by un-forgiveness, live in regret and shame, but God gives us confidence and strength to move forward with purpose and destiny!
Cry out to the Lord for HE is ever so near! And HE desires to be not only Your Saviour, but also Your Healer & Your Deliver! Just simply place all your cares into HIS hands… and let go!! Just know in your heart that God is working in your life, even when you don’t see it. He promises…HE will never leave you, nor will HE ever fail you! You will find that when your faith and trust is in HIM, an unexplainable joy and peace will flood your soul, allowing HIM to work in your life in unimaginable ways!
READ His promise to you….
But now, this is what the Lord says—HE who created you, Jacob, (your name) HE who formed you, Israel (your name): “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I WILL be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. Lift up your eyes and look to the Heavens: Who created all these?? It was God Almighty!! It is HE who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. And because of HIS great power and mighty strength, not one is missing!So tell me…WHY do you complain?? WHY do you say ”God does not see and doesn’t care”?? Do you not know?? Have you not heard?? …
The LORD is the Everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. HE will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. HE gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:25-31)

Running to You

A Childlike Trust
When darkness hides my senses and seems I’ve lost my way, as HIS Child, I know to run into the Ark of Safety, into the arms of my Heavenly Father! For it’s there close to HIS heart I find great comfort & peace from the wilds of this ole world.
You see, it’s through disappoints of life, I have learned to simply trust in Christ alone. No matter how bleak my circumstances may seem, I know I must surrender “my will” and rest in the fact that HE has a perfect plan for my life. I can honestly say…my GOD has never failed me, nor disappointed me!! In this journey of life I will forever cling tightly to my Father’s Word and His promises, knowing in my heart that He has everything under control. As I confirm my ever abiding love and trust in HIM, my God is so very faithful to sooth the hurt, calm the Spirit and refresh the soul.
No, I may not always understand the why’s or why not’s of life. But this one thing I do know…no matter what the outcome, I am God’s Child and HE cares about me deeply and desires HIS best for His children!
So if you are in the midst of enduring suffering and disappointment, may you remember this one thing: God created you for His Glory and desires a personal relationship with you. I pray that you too will come to experience this child-like Faith and trust in Jesus Christ, to comfort you and bring you through the darkest moments of life!

Are You Prepared?

They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
….Be prepared for He cometh like a thief in the night! (2 Peter 3:10)
