Strength of My Life
Yes each day I face has its own problems, its troubles and its tears, but I have learned to know my weakness, and I understand that I desperately need to draw strength from the Lord!
When I find myself in the midst of hard times that seem to last forever, I tend to grow weak & weary. But through it all I’ve learned to not do things on my own, but run to the “Rock that is Higher Than I”! For there I find comfort for my heartache & weariness.
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 59:16
As I rest in His presence, it’s as if the Lord has given me a fresh breath of new life! HE is strength to my weary soul, the very Hope that I cling to!!! (Listen to the beautiful words of this song below)

The reason God delivers you and me from all our enemies—from all our sorrows and the powers of hell—is because we are so very precious to Him!
Yes, life is full of ups and downs, so that doesn’t mean we won’t go thorough swirling waters or be faced with trials and temptations. But God always promises to take us by the hand and walk with us through it all. Believe it or not, if you keep your faith and your focus upon Him, you will come out safe on the other side!
Especially when I’m going through hard times, it is so encouraging to know…He makes all things work for the good!…My God delights in me! “He brings me out into a spacious place; he rescues me because he delights in me.” Psalm 18:19
Oh to hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant!” How great and merciful is our God! “Oh Lord… Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.” Psalm 63:3

Try A Little Kindness
Every day we are faced with many choices. But one of the most important things to choose is to begin our day with words of kindness. When we choose our words wisely, we can brighten someone’s day and bring much joy to our own hearts! On the other hand, our negative words have the power to divide and destroy.
Family & Friends are one of God’s greatest Blessings. So let your ‘kindness’ begin with those whom you love and care about so dearly. When you wake up and in the morning before your feet hit the floor, invite the Lord into your day and ask Him to help you choose your words wisely. For our actions and reactions set the mode for the whole day.
If you tend be snappy & grumpy in the mornings, just remember this: God doesn’t just ‘suggest’ we be kind and loving toward each other … HE Commands it!!
God’s command: “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. (John 15:12)
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:32)
Yes, there will certainly be those moments, but be aware of how you treat others. Your compassion, respect and love may be just what lead’s them to the heart of Christ!!
Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. (Philippians 4:5)
Purify yourselves by obeying the Truth so that you have sincere love for each other; love one another deeply, from the heart. (1 Peter 1:22)

You Are Royalty
When we accept the Lord as our Savior, we then become part of the most unique family in history – The Royal Family of God…. Here is what the scriptures in the Bible say….
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God…” 1 John 3:1
“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…” Romans 8:16,17
I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:18)
For…Those who are victorious will have an inheritance…I will be their God and they will be my children. (Revelation 21:7)
You are a chosen people, a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, God’s Special Possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into HIS wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9)
God says: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” (2 Corinthians 6:16)
“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” (Galatians 4:6-7)
You see, as born again believers of Jesus Christ that means that you & I have then been adopted into the Family of God and He has placed His seal of Son-ship upon us! We actually become an joint heir to the very Throne of God!
YES, we as are children of the Most High KING and our Crowns belong to the one who set the captives free…. JESUS! (Revelation 1:5-6)

The Hiding Place
There are times in this old world when I feel so weak, so afraid, and so all alone! As the dark storm clouds gather on the horizon, I quickly run to the place of safety, a place where my soul finds rest. In the arms of my Jesus is where I seek shelter as the storm winds howl & waves come crashing in! It is there hidden in HIS presence I shelter from the wilds of this old world!
It’s there in that hiding place the Lord begins to gently speak words of wisdom and encouragement…
”KEEP Clinging to the Promise!…Do not give up!…Do not be afraid!
I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10)
For HE is… a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain. (Isaiah 4:6)
He then instructs me to not worry and brings scriptures to mind…
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)
Time and time again, God encourages and shower’s me with His love and faithfulness. HE is a Friend I can depend on. He is my Guiding Light, the Anchor I cling to, my Eternal Hope of Glory! As I affirm my love and trust in Him, suddenly my faith is enabled to soar to higher heights and what looked impossible, somehow gives way to a ray of hope. As I wait upon HIM, those dark and dreary storm clouds began to give way to brilliant rays of sunlight! (Watch the video below…)

Yes, I admit sometimes it seems life is just not fare. Seems I get through one trial and here comes another. As the battle rages on I have found myself getting mighty weary from the struggle of it all. And yes there are those times I would just like to pick up my toys and go home! But just when it seems I’m at the at the end of my rope these quiet Words of life are dropped into my Spirit……
”Sandy, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27) Look up …“The LORD is with you, Mighty Warrior.” (Judges 6:12)“You are chosen, holy, righteous, and redeemed” by the Blood of the Lamb and the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells with in you!…Oh My Child, you may feel weak and defeated at times but… I, the Lord Your God…Promise to give strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (Isaiah 40:29) because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4) Then He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
I find it so amazing how quickly the powerful Word of the Lord can transform a trial, giving hope, peace and comfort even in the wildest of storms.
So if you are going through hard times, in the midst of all the turmoil, grab your Bible and be still and allow the Lord to speak to you. Begin listening for those powerful Words of life to be dropped into your spirit. You too will be amazed!!

Faithful, Tried & True
I have been walking with the Lord for many years. In my journey of Faith I have found that God’s Word is Living, Powerful and endures forever & ever! HIS promises are deep seeded in my heart and have carried me through many a trial in life! I continue to find over & over…that when all else fails, HIS Word stands Faithful, Tried & True!
How about you? Have you lost all Hope? Has your joy faded and withered like a flower? Open The Bible and find your promise!! God’s Word says if you seek me you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart! So search God’s Word “expecting” to find Him!! Then keep a journal. write your promises down. I find it helps to keep the promise ever before you…type them in big bold letters and post on your walls and repeat it every day! And even though you may grow weak and weary of the struggle of waiting…’Cling to that Word and guard it with all your might’! For your enemy will come in like a flood to steal and destroy all your hope and your heart knowledge from you – but only if you allow him to do so!!
Just REMEMBER, God’s Word is a powerful weapon…but you have to make an effort to read it and allow it to sink deep into your heart! So, I encourage you my Friend…Choose to walk in victory with the Lord! Stand your ground and do not waver in your Faith.
No matter what your circumstances you may be facing today, remember…
The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the Word of our God shall stand for ever. (Isaiah 40:8)
God is still on the Throne, Miracles still happen and yes, “Faith” still moves mountains!!

Renewing Your Mind
In Roman’s Paul speaks to the Believers of all backgrounds. They had accepted Christ, but yet fought intense battles in the mind…..
“Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:1-2)
Satan’s number one target is your mind. He wants you to think negatively, feel insecure, and run from where God has appointed you to be.
Study shows that morality and hope are at an all time low in our day and age. But it should be just the opposite for true Christians. We have everything to live for, not because of who we are, but for who lives inside us…Jesus Christ!
If we began renewing our mind by committing ourselves to thinking and viewing life from God’s perspective, then we find that God is faithful to help us make that change. But one must understand this….That may mean you need to take action and cut of satan’s access to certain areas of your life!
This means that one needs to beware of what you read, listen to, and watch on the TV and Internet! These may be areas of life where you need to block where the devil has access! But if you ask God, He will show you what’s to go.
Anything that conflicts with the God’s Truth, is satan’s plan to sidetrack you. However the real battle is in the ‘Will’. God will renew your thinking, but you must be willing!
I pray you will choose purity over evil, truth over lies. May the Lord help you to change your stinkin’ thinkin’. May your thoughts be pure and lovely as you learn to view things from God’s perspective!
