Yes, I admit sometimes it seems life is just not fare. Seems I get through one trial and here comes another. As the battle rages on I have found myself getting mighty weary from the struggle of it all. And yes there are those times I would just like to pick up my toys and go home! But just when it seems I’m at the at the end of my rope these quiet Words of life are dropped into my Spirit……
”Sandy, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27) Look up …“The LORD is with you, Mighty Warrior.” (Judges 6:12)“You are chosen, holy, righteous, and redeemed” by the Blood of the Lamb and the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells with in you!…Oh My Child, you may feel weak and defeated at times but… I, the Lord Your God…Promise to give strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. (Isaiah 40:29) because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4) Then He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
I find it so amazing how quickly the powerful Word of the Lord can transform a trial, giving hope, peace and comfort even in the wildest of storms.
So if you are going through hard times, in the midst of all the turmoil, grab your Bible and be still and allow the Lord to speak to you. Begin listening for those powerful Words of life to be dropped into your spirit. You too will be amazed!!

Why Worry…It solves Nothing!!
Did you know that “Do Not Worry” is in the Bible 365 times?!! That is a command for each day!! Did you know that “Worry”, is in a sense taking matters into your own hands and telling God you don’t trust Him! “Worry” does not add a single day to your life and most definitely DOES NOT solve problems!! In fact it has been proven that worry and anxiety weighs down the heart, making one physically & emotionally ill!! Worry and fretting is also an open invitation to the enemy to…come on in!
The Word of God gives very clear instructions how we are to face problems of life…“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you”. (1 Peter 5:7) I find that when anxiety is great within me, the Lord’s consolation brings me much peace of mind & His joy replaces my anxiety! Thus, I am able to begin looking at my situation in a more rational way.
Just remember…The LORD loves you and HE promises that HE will sustain you! HE also promises that HE will never let the Righteous be shaken. (Psalm 55:22) So, don’t just assume that you have all the answers, but be quick to run to God …”Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and HE will make your paths straight”. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
So Today, if you are carrying a heavy load, I encourage you to listen to this beautiful song below and instead of wasting time worrying, spend some time laying all your cares at the feet of Jesus and begin thanking Him for how He is working in your midst. As you begin to unload your burdens, you will be amazed how sweet peace comes flooding your soul. Suddenly you will find a new understanding as you begin viewing your situation in a fresh new light through the eyes & heart of God!
Take a look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they??? (Matthew 6:26)

Overcoming Fear
Has fear and doubt come against your mind? Is your Faith been sorely tried? Well lift up your eyes, and know help is on the way!
I find it absolutely amazing that “DO NOT be afraid” is in the Bible ‘365’ times—that’s one for each day! If you are one who struggles with the ‘Spirit of Fear’, then you have allowed yourself to be bound in an emotional prison and that is a miserable place to be! But did you know this?—“Do Not Fear” is not a choice…It is a Command!!!
Through Christ Jesus you have all authority over the enemy!! So boldly cry out the name of “Jesus”! The Name above ALL Names makes the enemy run the opposite direction! When you are tempted to be afraid, quickly take captive of your thoughts; Keep it positive. Quoting scripture builds your faith and helps you to begin thinking on things that are pure and lovely.
I find that no matter how bad my situation seems to be, there is always something good, some ray of hope in every trial. Sometimes you just got to search for it! In doing so, leaves absolutely no room for fear and doubt to settle into your life. Remember; Christ is WISDOM, so never forget to invite the Lord into your midst. Where HE is welcomed, He brings with Him Faith, the Spirit of jOy, Peace, Forgiveness, Love and self-control. It’s all yours just for the asking….
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. (Isaiah 26:3)

Peace like a River
Are you facing uncontrollable circumstances? Are you intimidated by others? Are you weighed down with fear or guilt? Are you nervous, agitated and disturbed within? Do you resent those who are happy?
I ask you this question…Have you truly ever embraced the security and love of God’s Grace?
You see…Jesus intends for those who love and follow HIM to live in peace, regardless of how crazy the world may be around you! Yes indeed the road of life may be rough at times, but one must learn to dodge those deep pot-holes in the road! Despite what may be going on around us, God’s message simply is this—“STOP trying to make things happen. STOP comparing yourself to others and STOP allowing yourself to be anxious, worried, and upset about things you can’t change!! This is what the Word says…
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God. (Psalm 42:5)
In other words this is clearly saying—Look to Jesus! Put ALL your Hope and trust in the Lord and “WAIT…expectantly” for Him to help! And while you wait…get your mind off your troubles and”Praise Him”!!!
You will find that if you practice this, then God is so faithful to help you to embrace the wonder of HIS amazing love and give you peace that passes all understanding! He will even give you faith and confidence to face all your tomorrows!
So the next time you feel troubled and afraid and begin to worry and fret…Remember, God has your best at heart! So be quick to ask for HIS help! You will find His Perfect Peace freely flows like a river to all those who love & trust HIM and call upon His Name!

Don’t Ever Give up!!
Don’t ever give up, God never gives up on YOU! His plans are perfect and you can rest assured He is doing something good behind the scene! God knows your name, your nature, and your every need! And you can trust that God’s every promise will be fulfilled…in His time!
Remember, It’s during this trial, the Lord is molding, shaping, fine tuning you according to His Heavenly purpose for your life! And believe it or not, God has everything under control. But as you wait upon Him, think upon this… Our Heavenly Father is searching the earth for hearts that are hungry, thirsty, and desperate for Him, seeking for a place where His glory may reside?!! He’s longing to share the good times and the bad times with His children. Just as an earthly Daddy, He desires to laugh with you, to hold & encourage you and listen to life’s hurts & disappointments and wipe tears when you cry. God wants to listen to your hopes & dreams, and deeply cares about everything that touches your life! He desires to give you the best instruction and reveal wonderful things to you. So the next time you get to feeling down and think about giving up…Run quickly to your Heavenly Father’s arms!
Make and early morning appointment with God….
Let the first steps of your day lead you into that secret “Sanctuary”. Maybe it’s a big old easy chair in a quiet place or maybe it’s walking in nature. Wherever your quiet place is…Enter in with a heart of worship, expressing your dedication, your love and your trust in God to meet your every need…then silently wait for His still small voice. (I keep a pen and paper handy and write down what I hear so I can remember it later) I have found….”Life” is so much easier when we take the time to know the very Heart of our Heavenly Father!!
So don’t give up…RUN to the Heart of your Father…Just one word from God, one touch from our Savior, can transform a life forever!
…being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)

Love Runs Deep
When darkness surrounds you and there seems no way out, remember…God’s unfailing, unchanging love runs deep for His children!
No matter what situation you may be facing, if you take time to listen closely, you will hear the voice of Hope encouraging you. Hear His gentle voice beckoning you to simply trust in Him.
When there seems to be no way, with a child like trust, just lunge into the arm’s of Jesus. For it’s there, you will suddenly realize…”HE” is the Way, The Truth and The Life!! Then acknowledge Christ as King of your life and allow Him to direct your path. And then take Him by the hand and step into the light of His love! You will be pleasantly surprised at how He understands all your confusion. And as you learn to walk with HIM, I guarantee, Christ will make something beautiful out of your life!!
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

HE Remains Faithful

Do you feel as if your prayers are never answered? Are you finding yourself in a waiting mode? When hard times come, do you really trust in The Lord?
First of all, it’s important to realize just how much God loves you. To discover His love, the journey takes you to the foot of the old rugged Cross. For there a high price was paid for YOU! You are His most prized possession and HE holds you ever so close to His heart. Therefore, we can know He desires what’s best for His Children and yes, we can even trust Him to be on time!! For when we have accepted that Love and live a “surrendered life”, then surely we know we can trust Him with the answers to our desperate cries.
Do you realize that God gives immediate responses to your prayers? Sometimes we see the Lord’s answer right away and even though we don’t like it, sometimes the Lord’s answer is “wait”! Now I do admit, waiting does stretch our faith just a tad. But do you know the “waiting period” is really for our own good! It’s during that time when God is building our faith and when we develop a simple child-like trust in Him. I have found the waiting is well worth it, for sometimes to my surprise, God’s answer is much greater than anything I ever anticipated.
Then, that means when we face difficulties in life, we should never spend useless time worrying and fretting over an uncontrollable circumstance. For to do so, brings on more pain and sorrow, making life absolutely miserable for ourselves and others around us. And actually, this is a form of manipulating God, which can be a very dangerous thing! So instead, when trials come let us be quick to grab our Bible, look up scriptures that are dear to our heart and meditate upon God’s promises and His faithfulness to us. This is an act of Trust and that’s when we can begin thanking Him for His perfect outcome.
Here’s a good scripture to remind us that we can Trust our Lord in ALL things… “Even if we are unfaithful, HE remains faithful, For HE cannot deny who HE is.” (2 Tim 2:13)
Yes, God loves us deeply and has our best at heart! Therefore, we can rest assured that His plans and His timing are ever so perfect! And just at that chosen moment when He decides it’s time for it all to come together, no devil in hell or man on earth can keep us from what our God desires for us! As for me, I am just so thankful that God doesn’t always give me what I ask for!!
In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. (Psalm 25:1) Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. (Psalm 9:10) I will say of the Lord, “He is My Refuge and My Fortress, My God, in whom I trust.” (Psalm 91:2) Therefore…Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to YOU I entrust my life. (Psalm 143:8)
I Look to YOU

Being born with a birth defect, and a young age being diagnosed with a crippling disease, I have fought a struggle my entire life, feeling that I don’t quiet measure up to others. But over the years filled with silent pain and sorrow, I’ve learned to turn it all over to God and simply trust Him, believing He does not make mistakes. Through it all I have learned to wait upon the Lord, knowing He will faithfully see me through all the struggles I may face in life.
No, life has never been easy, but I have more blessed hope than ever before that God will somehow be glorified through it all! At the dawn of each new morning, I continue to press on into the heart of my Heavenly Father, taking one day at a time. I have learned to accept myself just as I am. I surrender all my flaws & my infirmities, my health, my family, all into the hands of My Almighty Creator. I have pushed past all the hurts & disappointments of life as my heart overflows with a love and adoration for my Lord! Oh yes, I will always learn from my past, but with a strong determination I will continue to look ahead to the Author & Finisher of my faith, pressing onward to be the Servant He has chosen me to be!
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Yes…Even in the midst of the Storm!! (2 Tim 1:7)

Yes, we all have flubbed up in our past in some way or another. But, thank God, every day is another opportunity for a “do over”! The enemy wants us to be bound by un-forgiveness, live in regret and shame, but God gives us confidence and strength to move forward with purpose and destiny!
Cry out to the Lord for HE is ever so near! And HE desires to be not only Your Saviour, but also Your Healer & Your Deliver! Just simply place all your cares into HIS hands… and let go!! Just know in your heart that God is working in your life, even when you don’t see it. He promises…HE will never leave you, nor will HE ever fail you! You will find that when your faith and trust is in HIM, an unexplainable joy and peace will flood your soul, allowing HIM to work in your life in unimaginable ways!

But now, this is what the Lord says—HE who created you, Jacob, (your name) HE who formed you, Israel (your name): “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. Look to the Hills

Are you facing a tough time right now?….
Then…lift up your my eyes to the hills—and know where your help must come from!! As for me…My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1)
He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. (Psalm 121
So if you are being bombarded by the enemy right now, I encourage you to just begin speaking the wonderful, powerful, matchless name of JESUS and you will be amazed at how fast your enemy tucks his tail and runs the other way!! Then invite the Lord in your midst! For with Him embracing and upholding you, then you will be able to think much clearer and make wise decisions. Remember, having the Lord in your life is such a blessing—lean on HIM! HE knows you and HE loves you now and tomorrow and forever more. And you have His promise to never leave your side!
So, until the answer comes, from dawn to dusk, keep lifting your eyes to the Hills and your voice in praises to the KING!
