Here’s My Heart Lord

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalm 73:26)

O Lord, prompt me to open my Bible, to read and meditate upon Your Word. Remind me of the power of Prayer and teach me to linger at your feet, listening for your still small voice. Remind me of the importance of keeping Your Word deep inside my heart. Oh God I desire to know your very heartbeat! Set my heart ablaze O Lord. Let the beauty of Your goodness and love shine brightly to others, through Your light burning inside me! My heart’s desire is to radiate your love that other’s may be drawn to the light of Jesus Christ! Here’s my heart Lord.

 Arise O Lord

Dear Friends,

What we see and hear on the World News can be mighty disturbing at times. But we have the assurance that our Heavenly Father is in control!!!

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though it’s waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging…There is a River whose streams make glad the city of God, the Holy place where the Almighty dwells….Yes, Nations will uproar, kingdoms will fall;…but the Lord Almighty is with us! 

Therefore, let us remember as we hear all the discouraging reports…the Battle belongs to the Lord! 

”Arise O Lord and let your enemies be scattered”!!!  (Numbers 10:35)

It is very plain to see, we are in a desperate need of a move of God in our Nation!  So as the Children of the Most High God, with a strong determination to overcome, let us lift our voices with a SHOUT…”Come Lord, Set our hearts afire!  Come and do what only YOU can do…We need a move of God!!

Daddy’s Arms

Just as me, I’m sure you too have experienced disappointment, and rejection by others at times, which certainly makes it hard to ever trust again. But I do know this one thing…”God is Faithful”!!

When I place my faith and trust in the Lord, I know I will never be disappointed! HE has proven His love & devotion to me time and time again. He is so very true to His Word & will never abandon those who really want to know HIM!

So don’t be afraid to run to HIM like a Daddy. His arms are open wide and there you will find a heart filled with love that you can trust!

The eternal God is (my) refuge, and underneath are (His) everlasting arms. (Deuteronomy 33:27)

…I am the Lord; those who hope in me will not be disappointed.” (Isaiah 49:23)

“The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. (Psalm 9:9-10)

Faith Exercised

Faith is like a muscle, it must be exercised to grow!  The body’s Vital Organs and Skeletal System are protected by muscles.  But, by not taking action and failing to exercise leaves one in a weakened condition, rendered helpless and vulnerable to accident & disease.

The same applies to your Faith! Yes the Word says…”Faith as small as a Mustard seed”, but remember… When that Faith is NOT exercised it leaves you exposed in a weakened condition, defenseless and susceptible to the attacks of the enemy!

So be aware…”The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour”!  As the devil stalks, he is looking for “the weak in Faith”!  The Word says…”Resist the enemy & HE shall flee”, but without exercised faith, you are in a weakened condition and no match for the enemy!

Resistance is found through exercised Faith in Jesus Christ.  Faith is exercised on a daily basis and strengthened through “Prayer, Worship & The Word”.  You see, the Lord desires that you really know HIM!  Listen—HE is calling…“Draw near to ME and I will draw nearer to you.”   And as you yield to the beckoning of HIS still small voice…tarry there.  And there in HIS presence ‘talk to HIM and Listen’…As you will begin experiencing HIS ever abiding love, your Faith will soar to new heights!

An example of this kind of faith is Abraham…He spent time with the Lord.  He did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” (Romans 4:19-22)

The Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen your (faith) and protect you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3)  Just as Abraham, may you come to recognize the significance of exercising your faith…by spending time at His feet!  For it is there our faith is strengthened and we are equipped for the battle!  Keep in mind…The Lord does not force Himself upon anyone…it is a free choice.  As for me… “Christ” has become an absolute necessity in my life!!

Pray, Wait, Trust…”Dear Lord, Help me to exercise the Faith that I have been given so that I will grow stronger each day.”

Seeking “The Healer”

Throughout the years of my journey of silent suffering, I have found God’s Holy Word is Powerful, Tried and True. And yes, God is so very faithful to HIS Promises! Believe me, this is so very important when all else fails you and there is nothing else to cling to!

So if you find yourself in the midst of a faith challenging situation, I encourage you to be quick to run to the Father’s arms. Affirm your trust in His Holy Word and believing He holds your best at heart! Then begin laying down all your thoughts and idea’s about “healing” and surrender to a deep “personal relationship” with Christ.

His Word says “Seek Me, you will find ME, if you seek me with ALL your heart”! So as you cry out to the Lord, take time to listen closely for that still small voice. You will find the Lord is tenderhearted and compassionate and patiently waiting to talk to you….After-all He is very familiar with pain and suffering!

“He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53)

Therefore, I encourage you to Worship the Lord in all His grandeur and majesty, for it is so important to let your focus be upon the “Healer”, not the healing!! And when you open your heart and give HIM all authority to be glorified in you and through you…don’t be surprised at what you may experience! As you stand amazed in His presence, you too will find God honors a seeking heart as He begins to reveal His Power and Glory in a special way. For when we approach the Throne of Grace, seeking “The Healer”… Guess What!…..Miracles Happen!!

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”  (1 Peter 2:24)

Jesus is indeed the Great Healer, He is the Great Physician!

The Cry of the Cross

The CROSS…a gruesome form of Roman torture and death, which stands at the very heart of Christianity. The Cross is an authentic emblem that represents Christianity.

You see, God so loved that He gave His only Son to die for you. All mankind is born with original sin, which carved an abyss between God and man and nothing but the power of the Cross could reconcile man back to God. The message of the Cross is Holy Love, God’s immeasurable pure and selfless Love for man.

On this beautiful Easter Season…take time to think upon the Cross. Look past the pain and suffering, the nails, thorns, whips, mockery and ridicule. As you’re standing at the foot of the Cross, draw closer and look deeper into heart of the Cross, to the overwhelming passion that drove Jesus Christ to Cross as our Ultimate Supreme Sacrifice.

His overwhelming Love was demonstrated there on the Cross. He released the chains of death that bound you and gave you eternal life.  He brings you out of the darkness into His marvelous light, from despair to hope, from feeling useless to a life having true meaning.  He comes into your heart with perfect love and acceptance…making you a part of His Kingdom!

God Love’s YOU…He died for YOU…He arose for YOU…He saves YOU…He gives eternal life to YOU.  There is NO greater Love!!  As we busily prepare for Easter celebration, take time to set at the foot of the cross.  Be still and listen closely and you too will hear….the cry of the Cross!  No one could ever love you like Jesus!

Facing the Storm

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23-24)  True faith has to be tested and refined as silver & gold…In the midst of a howling sea of sorrow, pain, loneliness & despair, powerful waves well up to overtake me! In a distance I hear a voice calling my name!

I struggle in the swift currents to take a hold of a hand reaching out for mine! As it seems I’m going under for one last time, Suddenly I feel a hand firmly grasping hold of my arm, lifting me out of the angry sea and drawing me up to new heights. With the touch of His hand my soul senses a powerful love flowing, as my feet are set on a solid rock! This magnificent love enables me to stand unwavering on a mountain of Faith!

As I stand gazing beyond my present stormy sea, my joy is restored, my strength is renewed and the determination to overcome wells up within my soul! For Christ alone is my Salvation, My Hope of Eternity!

…And Once again I realize God has allowed my faith to be tested & refined! And once again I find HE is so very faithful!! All Glory to His Name!  Listen to this beautiful song…..

God’s Point of View

One of the most awesome moments was when I was flying into Portland on a beautiful clear, sunny day. The Pilot announced that it was the clearest he has ever flown. All along the flight He proceeded to point out snow covered mountain’s peaks to the north and to the south. Wow, so amazing! This began to trigger my brain to thinking of how God view’s my own life….

Did you know God has an omniscient, omnipotent view of our lives as believers! Nothing is hidden, He sees all, He knows all! He is aware of every detail of our lives from birth (even before we were conceived) until death! Since God knows every detail of our past, our present and our future so very well, surely I should rely upon Him in every event in my life! Surely without a doubt I can fully trust Him with every moment of my life.

God is an all-seeing, all-knowing God and we can rely upon His strength and wisdom as we face life’s challenges and obstacles! Wow, that means we are not limited by our own strength and wisdom…Thank you Lord!! The Lord has given us the scriptures to help us in making wise decisions from His viewpoint. When we are hemmed in by our circumstances and can’t see from all the fog, we can seek God prayerfully and regularly spend time in His Word which will enables us to break thorough the barriers of life with His insight!!

So rejoice my Friend…even tho sometimes it may feel you are all alone….God knows every detail of your life, He cares and He Loves you with an everlasting Love!! What may seem like an ordinary event or even a disaster in your life…rest assured, God will use all the good and not so good for His Divine Purpose! Trust Him, He will make something beautiful out of your life!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Send Your Spirit Lord

Let the church of the Living God Arise with healing in Her Wings!!! O Lord, stir up and awaken the Spirit within your people! Set our hearts a blaze, radiating Your love and power as a shining Beacon of Light into this darken world! Let your fresh oil and new wine flow over our lives!

For such a time a this…May we arise with courage and boldness as instruments of power, covered by your Divine Grace!  Equipped with your Gospel, as chosen Mighty Warriors of the Cross, let us arise, radiantly displaying Your Splendor and Glory! And as we march forth into this land, we ask for Your Holy protection.  Prevent any human power from extinguishing The Light and The Truth from going forth!! For nothing is too hard or impossible for those who come in the Mighty Name of JESUS!!

Lord we are in desperate need of You, for we realize it’s…Not by might, Not by Power, but by the spirit of the Lord!! (Zechariah 4:6) Therefore we will not be ruled by fear, but place our faith and trust in our Holy, Righteous God!  Lord go before us removing the mountains, melting our enemies like wax, making our way smooth and straight!  As we boldly arise to our rightful place, Spirit of the Living God breathe on us….equipping and empower us as Mighty Warriors of the Cross, bringing forth the Light of Divine Revelation to the heart, mind and soul of all men!!! Let us arise with a Holy boldness, ready to shine the love of Christ and speak the Living Words of Truth and Freedom!!  O Lord, in awe of You we boldly take our stand, ready to do Thy Will ,…,,Not by might, not by power, Send Your Spirit O Lord!!

My Child, Believe and trust in Me, I have called you out of the darkness into the light …

Walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Cor 5:7)

Arise Victorious Warrior

Yes, Life is full of hard knocks! With each hard blow, the devil seeks to weaken my faith and tries to destroy my soul. But I boldly stand my ground for I have made the choice to Love the Lord my God with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my mind and with all my strength, and never wavering in my Faith! For in Christ alone I place my trust! Therefore, In all my weakness and human limitations, I know beyond a doubt I have the power of my Unlimited GOD who sustains me!

You can bet the ole enemy will continue to seek, with a purpose to kill and destroy, but Christ has come to give Life Abundant! It’s through a personal relationship with Christ Jesus that I have found that conquering power over the enemy! YOU SEE….I live my life for Jesus! For the Lord is My Refuge and My Fortress, My God, in whom I trust. He is Faithful and True to His Word, A Victorious Warrior…Lord of everything! He is My Rock, My shelter, My very Hope, Blessed Redeemer who reigns upon the Throne!! Only Jesus can satisfy the very longing and thirst in my soul! He is My Supreme Sacrifice who gave His life that I might live and I find no greater Love!! He is the Living Water that rains down life upon me and refreshes me with abundant life!! I know who I am in Christ! Therefore I will not bend nor bow to the wilds of the enemy!

For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”, (Deut 20:4) Giving us victory over our enemies, putting our adversaries to shame. (psalm 44:7) For everyone born of God overcomes the world. FAITH is the victory that has overcome the world. (1 John 5:4)

I arise as a Victorious Warrior…armed and dressed for Battle according to Ephesians 6:10-18… “The Armor of God” (see below) Thanks be to God! He gives us the Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ…..MY KING…The Source of Living Water…I will Trust in YOU!!! (1 Corinthians 15:57)

The Armor of God

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
