The Bible is our Roadmap, filled with God’s promises!  I pray these scriptures will encourage you to  never give up, never give in!  Keep clinging to the Cross and let’s finish the race strong!

My Child……

Have I not commanded you___(insert your name)___? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

For I the Lord am faithful and will strengthen you ______ and protect you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

I will guard the course of the just and protect the way of MY faithful ones. (Proverbs 2:8)

So do not fear, for I am with you ______.  Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; (your name) I will help you. (Isaiah 41:13)

Do not be afraid ______ do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 41:14)

This is what the Lord says….” I Am the One who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: Do not be afraid, _____ You are my servant, whom I have chosen.” (Isaiah 44:2)

“Because you ________loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him (her); I will protect him (her), for he (she) acknowledges my name. (Psalm 91:14)

Remember…I have given you _______ authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. (Luke 10:19)

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.  ….You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, …. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. …. the Lord will be with you.’” (2 Chronicles 20:15-17)

Songs of Joy

Even though the battle rages on, with all my heart I will trust in My God!

Throughout the years of my christian walk, God has been so very faithful to His promises. No my life has never been easy. You see, a crippling disease attacked my body at a young age. Therefore I have overcome many obstacles and continue to face strong hurdles along the way. But you see, I made a decision long ago….no matter how rugged the journey gets, I will Trust the Lord and cling tightly to a promise that HIS hand of Mercy will guide me through the heated trials of life.

For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you,  Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13

Now I admit, there are times I’m tempted to just pick-up my toys and go home. Yes, The ole enemy ls persistent, but when the devil starts planting the thought of giving up, that triggers me into action…I begin dwelling upon all the answered prayers and good things that God has done in my life. And with the Lord’s help I keep pressing onward to the finish line, proclaiming the Lord’s amazing faithfulness to me!

You see, I have learned….when a mind is set upon Christ, He begins to flood the heart with jOy and fill the mouth with a songs of Praise! Suddenly I find myself dancing for jOy in the presence of my Holy Lord! You see, I have found that this is the secret to overcoming trials… it is GOD’S Love and “Joy” that keeps me going strong even in the midst of it all!

So when dark clouds seem to be coming your way, just lift your hands toward Heaven and start rejoicing. Focus on the faithfulness of the Lord, and lift your voice proclaiming HIS goodness and His Mercy. Begin thanking the Lord for His answers even when you don’t see it! Keep trusting that sweet victory is just around the bend. Believe me, our enemy can’t stand to be in a place where the jOy of the Lord abides!!

O Lord, May our mouths be filled with laughter, our tongues with Songs of JOY! May it be said among the Nations, “The Lord has done great and mighty things for them.” (Psalm 126:2)
For the JOY of the Lord is our strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)

“Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning!”

(Psalms 30:5)

Conquering Your Fear’s

As an African Missionary once told me…When a lion stalks its prey, he roars very loud. You would think that the prey would run, but, the loud roar paralyzes it with fear.

Yes, the enemy prowls aground like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour! But did you know….As a Child of God, the devil has no power over you, but he does toil with your thinking!  Therefore, be quick to recognize where those negative thoughts and fears are coming from. Learn to take control of the “stinkin’ thinkin” and don’t allow the devils lies to linger in your brain!  Be alert, do not allow the enemy to paralyze your faith!  Stand firm in God’s Word, knowing in your heart that the Lord is fighting battles for you…

“Do not be afraid, for the Lord your God Himself fights for you.” (Deuteronomy 3:22)

Remember….Your enemy has already been defeated at Calvary by the Blood of the Lamb! So, guard your mind and keep pressing onward, placing all your trust and faith in Jesus Christ. For HE promises to give you the strength to courageously overcome the adversities of life!! I know by experience…Through Christ, you can conquer your fears!!

“God has not given us (you) a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

My child….“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

 Arise O Lord

Dear Friends,

What we see and hear on the World News can be mighty disturbing at times. But we have the assurance that our Heavenly Father is in control!!!

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though it’s waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging…There is a River whose streams make glad the city of God, the Holy place where the Almighty dwells….Yes, Nations will uproar, kingdoms will fall;…but the Lord Almighty is with us! 

Therefore, let us remember as we hear all the discouraging reports…the Battle belongs to the Lord! 

”Arise O Lord and let your enemies be scattered”!!!  (Numbers 10:35)

It is very plain to see, we are in a desperate need of a move of God in our Nation!  So as the Children of the Most High God, with a strong determination to overcome, let us lift our voices with a SHOUT…”Come Lord, Set our hearts afire!  Come and do what only YOU can do…We need a move of God!!

Let Go and Let God

Dear Friend’s, Don’t let a past of hurts and disappointments rule your life…Let the past GO…Trust JESUS!!!

This is His promise to you……

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” ( Isaiah 43:18-19).

Whatever hurts you may have experienced or uncontrollable circumstances you may be facing, keep this in mind….Fear doesn’t have a chance when you stand strong in your faith, wrapped in the power of God’s Love! “There is no fear in love; but perfect love cast out fear” (1 John 4:18)

When all is surrendered into His perfect divine Will…behold all things are new! There is “resurrection power” in the name of Jesus!

Let the church of the Living God Arise with healing in Her Wings!!! O Lord, stir up and awaken the Spirit within your people! Set our hearts a blaze, radiating Your love and power as a shining Beacon of Light into this darken world! Let your fresh oil and new wine flow over our lives!

For such a time a this…May we arise with courage and boldness as instruments of power, covered by your Divine Grace!  Equipped with your Gospel, as chosen Mighty Warriors of the Cross, let us arise, radiantly displaying Your Splendor and Glory! And as we march forth into this land, we ask for Your Holy protection.  Prevent any human power from extinguishing The Light and The Truth from going forth!! For nothing is too hard or impossible for those who come in the Mighty Name of JESUS!!

Lord we are in desperate need of You, for we realize it’s…Not by might, Not by Power, but by the spirit of the Lord!! (Zechariah 4:6) Therefore we will not be ruled by fear, but place our faith and trust in our Holy, Righteous God!  Lord go before us removing the mountains, melting our enemies like wax, making our way smooth and straight!  As we boldly arise to our rightful place, Spirit of the Living God breathe on us….equipping and empower us as Mighty Warriors of the Cross, bringing forth the Light of Divine Revelation to the heart, mind and soul of all men!!! Let us arise with a Holy boldness, ready to shine the love of Christ and speak the Living Words of Truth and Freedom!!  O Lord, in awe of You we boldly take our stand, ready to do Thy Will ,…,,Not by might, not by power, Send Your Spirit O Lord!!

My Child, Believe and trust in Me, I have called you out of the darkness into the light …

Arise Victorious Warrior

Yes, Life is full of hard knocks! With each hard blow, the devil seeks to weaken my faith and tries to destroy my soul. But I boldly stand my ground for I have made the choice to Love the Lord my God with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my mind and with all my strength, and never wavering in my Faith! For in Christ alone I place my trust! Therefore, In all my weakness and human limitations, I know beyond a doubt I have the power of my Unlimited GOD who sustains me!

You can bet the ole enemy will continue to seek, with a purpose to kill and destroy, but Christ has come to give Life Abundant! It’s through a personal relationship with Christ Jesus that I have found that conquering power over the enemy! YOU SEE….I live my life for Jesus! For the Lord is My Refuge and My Fortress, My God, in whom I trust. He is Faithful and True to His Word, A Victorious Warrior…Lord of everything! He is My Rock, My shelter, My very Hope, Blessed Redeemer who reigns upon the Throne!! Only Jesus can satisfy the very longing and thirst in my soul! He is My Supreme Sacrifice who gave His life that I might live and I find no greater Love!! He is the Living Water that rains down life upon me and refreshes me with abundant life!! I know who I am in Christ! Therefore I will not bend nor bow to the wilds of the enemy!

For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”, (Deut 20:4) Giving us victory over our enemies, putting our adversaries to shame. (psalm 44:7) For everyone born of God overcomes the world. FAITH is the victory that has overcome the world. (1 John 5:4)

I arise as a Victorious Warrior…armed and dressed for Battle according to Ephesians 6:10-18… “The Armor of God” (see below) Thanks be to God! He gives us the Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ…..MY KING…The Source of Living Water…I will Trust in YOU!!! (1 Corinthians 15:57)

The Armor of God

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Facing the Storm

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24

True faith has to be tested and refined as silver & gold…
In the midst of a howling sea of sorrow, pain, loneliness & despair, powerful waves well up to overtake me! In a distance I hear a voice calling my name! I struggle in the swift currents to take a hold of a hand reaching out for mine! As it seems I’m going under for one last time, suddenly I feel a hand firmly grasping hold of my arm, lifting me out of the angry sea and drawing me up to new heights. With the touch of His hand my soul senses a powerful love flowing, as my feet are set on a solid rock! This magnificent love enables me to stand unwavering on a mountain of Faith! As I stand gazing beyond my present stormy sea, my joy is restored, my strength is renewed and the determination to overcome wells up within my soul! For Christ alone is my Salvation, My Hope of Eternity! …And Once again I realize God has allowed my faith to be tested & refined! And once again I find HE is so very faithful!! All Glory to His Name!

Here are some thoughts to ponder: “The stronger the battle , the greater the resistance, the bigger the muscle”! Therefore we should not oppose trials, but embrace them! For we have a promise that not a hair on our head will be burned, nor the waves will overtake us! (Isaiah 43) Boldly we will emerge from the fire brilliantly glowing…as a pure reflection of His heart!

Good Morning to all my Lovely Friends!

As I’m setting here enjOying my morning CofFeE and gazing into all the beauty that surrounds me, the Lord begins to bring you to mind. So many of my Friends are facing the impossible and have a desperate cry for prayer.

Today this is my prayer for you….

As you step into this new day I pray your life to be daily devoted to the Will of The Father! Whether it’s a day of sickness or health, work or Church, enjoying family & friends, a time of relaxation or just taking pleasure in God’s created beauty, wherever your feet may trod, I pray your spiritual senses are alert as the Lord reveals HIS TRUTH and LOVE to you in very special ways!

With each new day, may you experience God’s divine revelation as HE tenderly touches your body, spirit, mind and soul, bringing healing, hope & purpose to your life! I pray that with every step you will grow deeper and passionately in love with The Lord!

As your Faith arises, may this become the cry of your heart…O Lord…”Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” (Psalm 143:8)

As you wait upon the Lord to answer your heart’s pleas, I challenge you to seek His face and draw closer to God. Make this a glorious day as you walk in His powerful, loving, comforting presence! With Christ you will be a Victorious Over-Comer!!  Listen to this beautiful song……
